Terms of Service
Last updated: 26 July 2026
These terms
These terms cover your use of LaunchCanvas — this website and the LaunchCanvas application, both published by LaunchCanvas. By joining the waitlist or using the application, you agree to them. They are written to be read, not to be impressive; if something here is unclear, ask us at privacy@launchcanvas.io and we will explain it.
What the service is
LaunchCanvas is a tool for tracking client implementation projects: workspaces, projects, stages, items, comments, meetings and the activity around them. A workspace can keep its data in our own database or, if you connect a Google account, in a Google Sheets spreadsheet you own.
What we do with the data involved is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
The product is early
LaunchCanvas is pre-launch. Features will be added, changed, and sometimes removed. Interfaces will move. Things will occasionally break, and there may be periods where the service is unavailable while we fix them.
We may also withdraw the service, or a part of it, at any time, and we cannot promise it will exist indefinitely. If your workspace uses Google Sheets storage, its data is already in a spreadsheet you own, and that spreadsheet stays with you whatever happens to the service.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your sign-in credentials to yourself. Tell us at privacy@launchcanvas.io if you think someone else has access to it. You must be old enough to enter into a contract where you live, and if you are using LaunchCanvas for an organisation, you need that organisation's authority to agree to these terms on its behalf.
You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time.
What we expect of you
Do not use LaunchCanvas to:
- break the law, or help anyone else break it;
- store or share content you have no right to store or share, or content that infringes someone else's rights;
- attack the service or the people using it — that includes attempting to gain access to accounts, data, or systems that are not yours, probing for vulnerabilities other than to report them to us, and deliberately overloading the service;
- resell or redistribute the service as if it were your own;
- connect a Google account, or spreadsheets, you do not have permission to use.
If you do any of this we may suspend or close your account. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first.
Your content stays yours
Everything you put into LaunchCanvas — your projects, your items, your comments, your spreadsheets — is yours. We claim no ownership of it. We store and process it only to operate the service for you, and to do the things described in the Privacy Policy.
If your workspace uses Google Sheets storage, that data lives in your own spreadsheet in your own Google account, and stays there whatever happens to your LaunchCanvas account.
What we own
The LaunchCanvas software, this site, and the name and branding are ours. These terms give you permission to use the service, not any ownership of it, and not the right to copy or reverse-engineer it.
No warranty
LaunchCanvas is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose you have in mind, and we do not guarantee that data you store in it will never be lost.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost business, or lost or corrupted data arising from your use of LaunchCanvas. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product develops. The current version always lives at this address, with the date it was last changed at the top. If a change is significant and we have your email address, we will tell you. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
